This event will feature discussions and presentations by esteemed organizations and foundations within our community that provide crucial support and resources for women..
As part of our commitment to advocating for a safer and more inclusive community, the USM is proud to host a special symposium in commemoration of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, which took place on November 25, 2023.

Join us as we conclude the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence with an insightful symposium on December 6th, 2023. This event will feature discussions and presentations by esteemed organizations and foundations within our community that provide crucial support and resources for women and girls affected by violence.

We invite all students, faculty, staff, and members of the community to participate in this significant event. It's an opportunity to learn about the invaluable services available, engage in meaningful discussions, and stand in solidarity with the cause of ending violence against women.

The symposium will take place from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm in Lecture Hall 202 We encourage everyone attending to wear orange, the official color of the UN's UNiTE campaign against gender-based violence, to show support for this important cause.

Your presence and engagement at this event will contribute to raising awareness and fostering a community that is supportive and safe for all. Let's come together and demonstrate our commitment to eliminating violence against women and girls.
