Dr. Clinton Valley Warmly Welcomed by USM Management and Division Heads, Engages in Key Initiatives to Benefit Students
Philipsburg, The University of St. Martin (USM) was thrilled to extend a warm welcome to Dr. Clinton Valley who was greeted by the USM management team and division heads during a special breakfast session hosted by the university on Tuesday November 14, 2023. Dr. Valley is Professor and Program Director of Educational and Organizational Leadership at UVI and this significant occasion provided an opportunity for in-depth discussions on key initiatives aimed at benefiting both the students at USM and the community of St. Maarten.

The breakfast meeting served as a platform for fruitful discussions on strategies and programs to elevate educational opportunities and overall growth in the region. Dr. Valley's presence underscores USM's commitment to forging impactful partnerships and fostering collaborations that enhance the educational landscape on the island.

As part of the enduring partnership between the University of St. Martin and the University of the Virgin Islands (UVI), the master and doctoral programs continue to be given online, facilitating students' ability to remain on St. Maarten while pursuing their academic endeavors. This collaboration allows students to maintain their work, family commitments, and lifestyle without compromising their education.

Dr. Valley, in his visit to the USM campus, met with the rest of USM team, students, faculty, and staff on Tuesday and will further engage throughout Wednesday November 15th, fostering dialogue and understanding across various stakeholders. Moreover, Dr. Valley is scheduled to appear on SOS Radio on November 15th at 12:00 PM, providing an insightful session on the significance of collaborative education and its positive impact on the community.
