Happy World Teachers’ Day!
October 5, 2026
Today, USM joins the global community in celebrating World Teachers’ Day and recognizing the dedication, patience, knowledge, and heart that educators bring to their work every day.
To our USM faculty, and to teachers across St. Maarten and beyond, thank you for the important role you play in shaping minds, building confidence, opening doors, and preparing students for the future.
Teaching goes far beyond the classroom. It is about encouraging students to think critically, helping them discover their potential, supporting them through challenges, and inspiring them to keep growing.
On this World Teachers’ Day, USM proudly celebrates all educators who continue to make a difference in the lives of their students and in our communities.
Thank you for teaching, guiding, inspiring, and believing in the next generation.
