The University of St. Martin Science Research Institute is excited to announce a significant initiative aimed at addressing a pressing health issue in St. Maarten. On Wednesday, March 6, 2024, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, the institute will be hosting a public lecture titled "Exploring the Dengue Fever Prevention and Management Landscape on St. Maarten." The lecture will be held at Axum Art Café, located at #7 Front Street.

Dengue fever remains a major health concern in our community, demanding a better understanding of prevention and management strategies. Soniya Bag MD, MSc Global Health, the event's esteemed speaker, will dive into various aspects of dengue fever, sharing valuable insights and proposing effective solutions for fighting this health challenge.

Attendees can expect an engaging discussion with opportunities to ask questions and interact with specialists in the field. This lecture is open to the public and welcomes anyone interested in learning more about dengue fever and helping prevent it.
