The University of St. Martin is proud to announce the availability of Ph.D. scholarships through the Dutch Research Council (NWO). If you were born in or currently reside on one of the ABCSSS islands or are interested in conducting scientific research with USM as your host institution this is your chance to pursue a fully funded Ph.D. trajectory.
This opportunity supports research relevant to the Caribbean part of the Dutch Kingdom. The selected candidate(s) will conduct research over a four-year period. USM gives priority to topics related to governance, health, climate change and the environment, and socio-economic and cultural development in St. Martin and the surrounding islands.
Ph.D. candidates may identify their promotors at USM or partner institutions within any university or university of applied sciences across the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
