USM Kicks-off Registration for Spring Semester

October 29, 2022

On Tuesday, November 1, continuing students will be able to begin registering for spring semester classes. Classes for the spring semester will start in January.
Students are encouraged to register early in order to prepare for a smooth start, and contact their respective Division Heads to schedule their registration appointments. New student registration will begin on Monday, November 28, 2022, after completing the placement exams, which are scheduled for Friday, November 18 and Saturday, November 19, 2022. Students can access and download the registration forms online or from the Student Service Center.

USM 2023 offering includes courses in Education, Business, Hospitality Management, Natural and Social Sciences, Math and the Humanities as well as modern languages such as Dutch, Spanish and French.

New courses such as the History and Culture of St. Martin and Geographic Information Systems will continue to be available to those members of the community who are not enrolled in one of USM’s accredited degree programs. As usual, USM will be servicing its English as a Second Language (ESL), Adult Literacy and General Equivalency Diploma (GED) programs.

USM administration also stated that it was renovating its library to accommodate more studying and research space for its students. As of 2023, students, faculty and staff will have access to an online library supported by ProQuest for peer reviewed journals, books, news sources and other resources for 21st century learning.

Registration forms can be accessed via USM website www.usm.sx/forms
