The University of St. Martin is inviting prospective students to take the next step toward their future as applications are now open for the Spring 2027 semester, with classes beginning in January 2027.
Under the theme “Step Into 2027 Ready to Grow,” USM is encouraging persons who have been thinking about starting or continuing their higher education to make 2027 the year they take action.
Whether you are completing secondary school, looking to advance professionally, returning to education after some time away, or simply ready for a new direction, USM offers students the opportunity to pursue higher education right here in St. Maarten while building a strong foundation for their future.
USM provides a range of academic pathways designed to support students at different stages of their educational journey. Students can pursue Associate and Bachelor’s degree opportunities in areas including Business, Education, Social Work, Hospitality and Tourism, Math and Science, and Networking and Digital Technology, among others.
Beyond earning a qualification, studying at USM provides students with the opportunity to develop practical skills, build professional networks and become part of a diverse learning community.
USM also recognizes that there is no single path to higher education. Some students begin immediately after high school, while others return to the classroom later in life or after gaining work experience. Whatever the starting point, taking that first step can open the door to new possibilities.
As USM prepares to welcome its Spring 2027 cohort, prospective students are encouraged not to wait until the last minute to begin the admissions process. Applying early provides additional time to submit required documents, receive guidance from the Admissions Office and prepare for the start of classes in January.
