USM Welcomes Students from Saba and Statia Education Program

The management Team and Staff of USM is pleased to announce the warm reception and visit of students and delegations from Saba and Statia enrolled in UVI@USM's Bachelor of Education program.
From Wednesday, February 28th, to Friday, March 1st, the students had an enriching visit that provided them with a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in USM's vibrant academic environment, fostering connections and deepening their understanding of educational practices.

Mr. Robert Judd, Manager of Finance and Operations, Mr. Wycliffe Smith, Acting President, Mrs. Juliana Shipley-Hodge and Mrs. Marva Sam-Arrindell, Division Heads of Education Programs, and Dr. Gale Rigobert, Dean of Academics, all made remarks during the visit. These remarks emphasized the university's commitment to helping the Saba and Statia students achieve their educational goals.

"This visit symbolizes the strong partnership between USM and UVI@USM in providing quality educational opportunities for students across the region," said Mr. Wycliffe Smith, Acting President of USM. "We are honored to welcome these students to our campus and look forward to seeing them flourish as future educators."

The students' visit to the USM campus included engaging discussions, campus tours, and opportunities to interact with faculty and staff. It demonstrated USM's commitment to promoting educational excellence and collaboration throughout the Caribbean community.
