VSM Treats USM Business Students Nearing Graduation

Visit St. Maarten/St. Martin (VSM) supported USM Business students with breakfast gift vouchers as they complete Internship and Research, one of the final courses toward their Associate Degree in Business and BTEC Level 4 Certificate.
The University of St. Martin (USM) would like to give a big thank you to the SHTA’s In-Room Magazine, Visit St. Maarten/St. Martin (VSM), for continuing to support USM and our students!
Over the years, VSM has featured USM in its magazine, helping showcase our students and the work we do. This time, they went a step further by providing breakfast gift vouchers from for several of our students in Internship and Research, one of their final courses before graduation.
These students are working hard toward completing their USM Associate’s Degree in Business alongside their BTEC Level 4 Certificate. It’s an important and sometimes demanding stage of their journey, so having the opportunity to take a little break, enjoy a relaxing breakfast, and celebrate their progress is a wonderful gesture.
Garry Duell of Visit St. Maarten/St. Martin shared:

Our hospitality industry depends on motivated, knowledgeable young professionals, and we are pleased to play a small part in encouraging these students as they reach this important stage of their education."
We couldn’t agree more! A simple gesture of appreciation can mean a lot, especially when students are in the final stretch. It’s also a great reminder that education and industry are stronger when we work together to support the next generation of professionals in Sint Maarten.
