USM is accepting applications for its Fall 2026 GED Program. Morning and evening classes begin August 24, offering a flexible and supportive pathway for individuals ready to complete their secondary education. Apply by August 12.
The University of St. Martin is now accepting applications for its General Educational Development (GED) Program for the Fall 2026 semester. Classes will begin on Monday, August 24, 2026, with both morning and evening options available.
The GED Program offers individuals who did not complete high school another opportunity to earn a recognized secondary-level credential and move forward with their educational and professional goals. Whether students want to qualify for better employment opportunities, continue into higher education or achieve a long-held personal goal, USM provides a supportive environment to help them succeed.
A Schedule Designed for Working Adults
Recognizing that many GED students balance employment, family responsibilities and other commitments, USM offers classes during the morning and evening. Applicants can select the option that best fits their schedule.
Throughout the program, students receive instruction and guidance in the four GED subject areas:
• Mathematical Reasoning
• Reasoning Through Language Arts
• Science
• Social Studies
Students will strengthen their academic knowledge, improve their confidence and develop the skills needed to prepare for the official GED examinations.
It Is Never Too Late to Continue
Returning to school can feel challenging, especially after spending time away from the classroom. However, students do not have to take that step alone. USM instructors guide participants through the learning process and help them work toward completing each subject successfully.
The GED can also serve as a pathway to further education. After earning the credential and meeting the applicable admission requirements, graduates may explore degree and other educational opportunities at USM or elsewhere.

Individuals interested in joining the Fall 2026 GED cohort are encouraged to apply early and complete the necessary admission steps before August 12, 2026.
