Courses

Courses provided at USM are listed by field (PDF document):

Notice:
A hyphen separating two course numbers (e.g., 101-102) indicates the course sequence must be taken in the given order.

A comma separating course numbers (e.g., 101, 102) indicates the courses may be taken in any order.

Courses in the College Preparatory Program have numbers below 99. Credits for these courses cannot be used to meet degree requirements. These credits are, nonetheless, a prerequisite for degree courses when:
- The student does not meet college entrance standards.
- The student has demonstrated the need for preparatory coursework through placement testing at USM.

Each program brochure lists which courses are required for your degree.
