The Bachelor of Arts in Social Work is a programme which will be offered under the UVI@USM partnership at the University of St. Martin campus. The programme is designed to provide knowledge and practical training to persons on St. Martin who are interested in pursuing a career in social work or counselling. It offers students the opportunity to study and learn how to service a largely challenged population in a multicultural and multilingual environment.

Students will be trained to advocate for the disempowered, work conscientiously with sensitive issues, and use critical thinking skills to foster a high level of social responsibility within themselves. This programme is specially designed for persons living in St. Martin and who are USM students.

— Exam results (CXC, HAVO, PreUSM, GED, BAC if applicable).
— Two passport pictures.
— A personal essay.
— Copy of passport (verified at USM).

— Affidavit of financial support (forms are
available at USM).
