Learn English as a Second Language (ESL).
ESL
The ESL Program consists of 72 hours of instruction over a 12-week period for each course. Students will be required to attend six (6) hours of class each week.


The goal of the ESL Program is to improve the students’ English levels by teaching the following:
— Reading
— Writing
— Listening Comprehension
— Conversation
— Grammar and Vocabulary


The ESL classes are taught by qualified, friendly, and experienced teachers. The schedule will vary according to each level.


Six Levels

The ESL program offers six (6) study levels:
Basic Level: Beginners – Low
Level 1: Beginners – Intermediate
Level 2: Intermediate
Level 3: Advanced – Low
Level 4: Advanced – Intermediate
Level 5: Advanced – High

Tuition and Fees

For the academic year:
— Application fee: $25.00
— Tuition: $590.00
— Total cost: $615.00
Payment plans are available. At least 50% of tuition fees must be paid before the start of class. The remaining balance must be paid within two (2) months after the start of class.

Admission Procedure

1 — Complete the application form ($25.00 application fee will be requested to pursue the application procedure).
2 — Submit the required documents (see admission requirements).
3 — Placement test to determine your level.


Admission Requirements

— Two passport pictures
— Copy of passport (verified at USM)
— Proof of residency/registration form
— Affidavit of financial support (forms available at the USM).
