Following New Student Orientation on Friday, USM officially begins its Fall 2026 semester today, August 17. USM welcomes all new and returning students as classes get underway for degree programs, individual courses and CEP through December 5.

Registration is open for new, continuing and returning students. Classes begin August 17, and the last day to add a class is August 24. Students who missed placement testing should contact Admissions to discuss their available options.

The University of St. Martin reminds all new degree students and students enrolling in CEP or individual courses with prerequisite requirements to complete their placement test this Friday and Saturday. Students who have not yet registered should contact the Admissions Office immediately.
